Why this course?
We don't expect students in high school to learn math by just watching someone do it over and over again.
We don't expect new employees to learn the ins and outs of a job just by watching others around them.
So why do we expect that people will learn leadership that way?
Leadership isn't really taught, you're just expected to learn it on your own.
Which is stupid...
HOWEVER, leadership really is a challenging concept. Part art, part science, it's exceedingly helpful if you learn some fundamental skills early on in a memorable way. We've read a lot of books and done a lot of research so you don't have to (but you should!).

The Keys to Successful Leadership
Predictable, consistent decision-making is underrated but crucial for successful teams/leaders. What decision you make and (often) more importantly how you make that decision as a leader cannot be a surprise to those on your team, and the goal should eventually be for THEM to make those decisions. The first priority should be pushing control as far down as it will go in your organization.
Building systems is more important than outright results. Good results with no system are lucky. Leading without systems is like trying to bake a cake without a recipe: it's possible you'll accidentally get it right, but start with and then tweak a recipe and you can be right EVERY TIME!
That's what we do in this course: we're going to give you a way to find your organization's recipe so you can win every time.
It's all about culture.
